This Bentley Library research guide was created to provide a starting point for researching companies.

Stock Prices

These library databases provide current daily stock prices. Additional resources are available via the Trading Room (see bottom of page).

Sign up for a free personal subscription to the Wall Street Journal online and/or The Financial Times online through the Bentley Library to follow the daily stock prices. Instructions:

Historical Stock Prices

These library databases provide historical prices. Additional resources are available via the Trading Room (see bottom of page).

  • Search tip: Look up a company, click on the [Equity Pricing] tab, the use the "Control" box to choose the time frame. Change "Chart" to "Report" to view and export daily price numbers. Historical data goes back 30 years.
  • Search tip: Look up a company. In the left column, under [Charting], click on either "Annotated Stock Chart" or "Chart Builder". Select the metrics you want to view (e.g. share pricing). Change dates in the upper right corner. Export to Excel to see all data in table view. Historical data available back to 1968.
