This guide describes efforts being made to preserve data required by Congress as part of its constitutional oversight & funding responsibilities.

Overview Climate and Environment

Beginning in January 2025, thousands of climate and environmental datasets and resources have been removed from federal government websites according to the National Security Archive. The Trump administration has rapidly expanded the scope of its climate change information suppression with 70% more website changes in his first 100 days in office in 2025 than in 2017 (EDGI).

The following is a list of organizations and universities tracking and archiving those changes.
