GR603-AL1: Leading Responsibly (Barber)

Welcome!

This research guide has been created to help students taking GR603: Leading Responsibly with Professor Veronica Barber.

This guide has been designed to help you with conducting research for the assignments in this class.

  • Getting Started discusses how to begin researching topics you may be exploring this semester such as wealth, income, living wages, social equality, and executive compensation. Included on this page are suggested search terms and resource recommendations.
  • Finding Books, Articles, & More will help you learn how to search the Bentley Library resources.
  • Finding Laws & Regulations offers suggestions on how to begin researching various laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local level.
  • Citing Sources in APA will help you to cite all of the sources you use in your assignments correctly. General paper formatting assistance, in-text citation examples, and reference list examples for many types of sources (especially tricky business resources!) are included.

Special Online Access to Bloomberg.com, The Economist, Financial Times, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal

The Bentley Library is pleased to offer special subscriptions to the online versions of the Financial Times, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal. Current Bentley students can sign up for special accounts (lasting for one year) to access articles and other content available right on the paper's website.

Once you create your account using your Bentley email address, you can take your access with you on the go using mobile apps and sign up for news alerts.

A research guide may include a list of relevant databases to search in, suggested search terms, recommended book titles, lists of websites, and more. Browse our list of Research Guides to see if one has been created for your class, a subject area, or a topic you are researching.
