Course Reserves
Course reserves are materials such as books, videos, articles, or course packs that have been set aside at the request of a professor so that all members of a class have an opportunity to use them. There are two types of course reserves:
- Physical Reserves are printed material (books, journals, etc.) placed on course reserve by your instructor and made available for students to borrow for a limited period of time (e.g. 2 hours, 1 day, or 3 days). Items may be restricted to in-library use only.
- You can check to see what items are on reserve for your class using the Course Reserves search. Search by the instructor’s last name or by course number. All reserve materials may be obtained at the Library Services Desk.
- Electronic Reserves or e-reserves are readings posted electronically to your course’s Brightspace site by the instructor for you to access.
