  • Picking up and returning Interlibrary Loan (ILL) materials.
  • Obtaining the borrowing card for Brandeis University Library.
  • Borrowing and returning museum passes.
  • Borrowing materials to use in the group study rooms (such as telephones and whiteboard supplies).
  • Borrowing materials to use in the video preview room (such as remote controls and headphones)..
  • Requesting assistance with library printers, copiers and other equipment.
  • Lost & Found.

Reserves & eReserves

Course Reserves

Course reserves are materials such as books, videos, articles, or course packs that have been set aside at the request of a professor so that all members of a class have an opportunity to use them.

  • Reserve materials are usually loaned for a very limited period of time (e.g. 2 hours, 1 day, or 3 days). Items may be restricted to in-library use only.
  • You can check to see what items are on reserve for your class on the Course Reserves page and in the library catalog. All reserve materials may be obtained at the Library Services Desk.

eReserves are digitized reserve materials (usually journal articles or excerpts from a book) and can be accessed through your Blackboard course site.
