First-Generation Students Library Guide

Provides useful resources for First-Generation Students.

Group Study Rooms

undefinedThe library provides 22 state-of-the-art collaborative study rooms, which may be reserved in advance online using the campus wide EMS system or the mobile app, Direct Spaces, or on-the-fly using the touchscreen panel mounted outside each study room.

Designed to support the need for collaboration, 18 rooms feature large-screen LCD displays, with 2 additional rooms featuring SMART boards. All rooms contain network ports and whiteboards; supplies such as dry erase markers and conference call telephones may be borrowed at the Library Services Desk.

How to Make, Edit or Cancel a Reservation

  • Online and via the app: Download Direct Spaces to make reservations using the app
  • In the library: Use the panel mounted at the entrance of an empty room to use it immediately
  • By phone: Call the Library Services Desk at 781.891.2168
