How to Check Out Books

To check out a book:

  1. Your Bentley University ID card is also your Library Card. You must have your Bentley ID card with you to check out library materials.
  2. Use our catalog at library.bentley.edu to find a book. If you need help with this, please visit the Library Services Desk or the Reference Desk on the Main Level of the Library. We are happy to help you find a book and locate it on the shelf.
  3. Bring the book(s) or DVDs to the Library Services Desk or use one of the Self-Checkout Workstations for checking out materials.
  4. Remember to return your book by the due date! If you bring library materials back late, you may have to pay fines. For more information, click HERE.
  5. Renew your books if you need more time. You can manage your own library account by logging into My Library Account.
  6. Contact the Library Services Desk at libraryservices@bentley.edu or 781-891-2168 with questions about borrowing, renewing, and returning library materials.
