Sage Business Cases

The Bentley Library provides a subscription to Sage Business Cases. Cases within this collection cover a variety of topics, with new cases continually added. These cases can be linked directly into your course Brightspace site to be shared with students.

Sage Business Cases Highlights & Search Tips

Audio Cases: Sage has partnered with the Planet Money podcast. Audio can be streamed or downloaded to accompany the included cases.

Express Cases: Short, news-driven cases. 10 new cases are published quarterly in Sage's Express Cases collection. Each case is under 1,000 words.

Some of the search options include not just keyword searching and browsing but also searching by subject area, sorting results by popularity, or searching by geographic region

Teaching Notes for Faculty

As part of the library's subscription to Sage Business Cases, faculty can obtain access to teaching notes for cases they wish to assign to students. These teaching notes provide information related to the case including:

  • Teaching objectives
  • Suggested teaching strategies
  • Suggested answers to discussion questions

For access to teaching notes:

  1. Faculty should contact the Reference Desk to receive a verification code.
  2. Create a Sage Profile when you are on the Sage Business Cases platform.
    1. In the process of creating your Sage Profile, you will be given the option to request "Sage Business Cases Instructor Access". Check the box and a new field will show in the form where you can enter the verification code you received from the Bentley Library.

Once your Sage profile has been created (with a unique password), you will then be able to log into your profile to access teaching notes anytime on the Sage platform.
