Searching Bentley Library for Open Access Materials

How to use the Open Access filter in the Bentley Library search

When searching in Bentley Library's catalog, select Open Access in the Refine your search section and click Apply Filters. The following results will be articles that are Open Access.

Non-Bentley students can still search the library, but when selecting an article, make sure to click the Unpaywall Open Access link in the View Online section:

Use the Unpaywall Extension

Unpaywall is an extension that can be added into a web browser in order to find OA versions of journal articles. When the extension is added, a green lock symbol will appear to indicate that an OA version is available. This will often be a "preprint" version, and the icon will redirect you to the source. If there is no OA version available, the lock symbol will be grey.
