The resources collected in this guide are designed to help you conduct research for the assignments in this class. 

  • The Keeping Up with the News section will be helpful for locating news articles related to current events through library resources.
  • Finding Books offers search tips on how to locate both print and electronic books available at the Bentley Library, how to read a book record, and how to search for books outside of the Bentley Library.
  • Finding Articles provides some search tips and recommended resources for finding information for your research assignment based on the course theme.
  • If you're looking for data or statistics related to your topics, look at the Locating Data & Statistics page for suggestions on where to get started.
  • The Evaluating Sources section provides some tips on how to evaluate sources you find for quality as well as tips on identifying scholarly vs. popular sources.
  • Citing & Writing Resources goes over some of the resources available to help you when completing your assignments with a special focus on citing in Chicago Author-Date citation style.

Research Consultations: Research Help by Appointment

Research Consultations are scheduled one-on-one meetings with a reference librarian. You can also schedule these consultations for a small group. Consultations usually last 30 minutes and take place during Reference Librarian Hours as listed above. 48 hours advanced notice required.

Research Guides are resources created by Bentley Librarians to guide you through research. These guides will contain a map of best bet resources of where to find information and search tips to make the research process easier.
