Static Linking: JSTOR

This guide is designed to provide faculty with help linking content from EBSCOHost, ProQuest and JSTOR in Blackboard or online bibliographies.

About JSTOR

JSTOR provides full-text access to a full-range of academic journals and books.  Articles in JSTOR are available in PDF.  Each title indexed in JSTOR is subject to a 5-0 year moving wall (embargo period).  Users can search JSTOR by discipline, subject-area, and journal title.  JSTOR refers to a static link as a "Stable URL".

From the Bentley Library's databases A-Z page (https://libguides.bentley.edu/az.php) click on the link titled "JSTOR".  

Searching JSTOR

Step 1:

Enter your search tems and limitors on the JSTOR search page and click the blue "Search" button.

Step 2:

Click on the title article title to which you would like to link and the document page will load. 

Step 3:

After the document is launched you will see the Stable URL for the that article under the journal name, near the top of the page.
