Borrowing from Other Libraries

Books and articles that are not available at the Bentley Library can be requested via our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) department.

All Interlibrary Loan requests should be made online using Bentley's Tipasa Interlibrary Loan service.  You may use ILL to submit requests, check the status of your requests, and update your contact information.

Selected Art Titles

Art and Time [Reference N70 .R337 2005] Presents ideas about art in relation to time, examining empirical time and imagination, artistic imagery of time, performance or reading time, time as region or era, and photography and time.

Art and Today [Reference N6490 .H37 2008] Independent scholar Eleanor Heartney surveys contemporary art. The book is arranged not by movement or year, but by themes such as "Art and Globalization," "Art and Identity," and "Art and Politics." With several color reproductions.

Grove Encyclopedia of Classical Art and Architecture [Reference N5610 .G76 2007, 2 vols.] Includes revised articles from previous Grove dictionaries as well as over 100 new articles. An excellent, comprehensive source on art in the classical era.

Thames and Hudson Dictionary of Art Terms [Reference N33 .L75 2004] Comprehensive resource. More than 2,000 entries define and explain terms used to describe painting, sculpture, architecture, graphic arts, decorative and applied arts, and photography, including the terminology of non-Western art.
