Sports Market Analytics can be used to find sports fan demographics. Log in to SBRnet and click on the "Summaries" tab. When the summaries page loads you will be able to explore different market segments. All of the market segments can be downloaded into Excel.
The "Sports" tab will allow you to see participation numbers for team and individual sports and a look at the major fan markets in the sports indexed by SBRnet. Hint: for participation make sure to look at both "Casual" and "Core" participation to get a better understanding of who is participating in various sports.
