  1. A good resume tells your story.
  2. Think of yourself as a curator, your life as a museum (with lots of exhibits), and your resume is a guided tour, telling your story.
  3. Choose the type of written resume according to your needs: a general resume focuses on you, while a targeted resume focuses on a specific potential employer.
  4. Make the first 1/3 of your page hook readers so they want to read your entire resume: use a truthful objective and potent keywords.
